Tips & Tricks Thursday

Do you have baby in diapers and a growing yarn stash? Need a place to store that yarn that is not going to cost an arm and a leg?

Well, a simple solution that is relativity free and very eco-friendly is to use the boxes your baby's diapers come in.

Can you see the boxes on the top shelves?

Think about it, you have to buy the diapers anyway, right? So, instead of RECYCLING the the boxes (you do recycle them) ... reuse them. Simply fold the top flaps inward or cut them off and stuff them with yarn. Then stack them on a shelf for and easy visual of your stash. You could also Modge Podge some nice paper to the outside to jazz them up a bit.

Another storage option that I use for my yarn and in my bathrooms is to use a clear over the door shoe storage.

Hang them up and stuff them with yarn.
