Make It Monday ~ Halloween Cupcakes Version 1.0


Stamped Fondant Cupcake Toppers

Aren't these cute?
Super easy and very cute!

What you need:
Stamps of your choice
Cookie cutter
(large enough to fit the stamp you want)
Gel food coloring
Paint brush

What to do:
Roll and cut out your fondant shapes a few days before so they can dry. 

Place stamp on dried fondant and press firmly WITHOUT wiggling the stamp.




A few things to know...

  • The food coloring does not dry completely. It will still have a slight stickiness to it so be aware of that.

  • You can use ANY stamp you desire as long as it fits your fondant cut out,

  • You can use multiple colors just make sure you do not put them close together or they made bleed.

  • Remember to wash of the food coloring asap to prevent staining your stamps.

  • The darker colors may not show well or as the color you intended (i.e. the purple in on the EEK! on mine)

  • This technique can also be done on royal icing and fondant covered cakes.
